Bill Marsh, Jr.

Bill Marsh, Jr.

Although his family re-located to Traverse City in 1980, Bill Marsh, Jr. attended college in Philadelphia, and lived in Grand Rapids, before finally settling into the area in 1985 to join his father’s dealership. Bill was immediately at home in this area, a place that he feels warmly welcomes newcomers with an environment that is the envy of other Michiganders. He deeply values the sense of community and shared pride that encompasses the Northern Michigan region, and believes that Traverse City is truly unique for it’s small town charm and “big city opportunity”. The father of three children, Will who is studying music at the California Institute of Arts, Kristen who will attend Hope College in the Fall, and Nicole who will be in 8th grade at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Bill Marsh, Jr. has been married for 24 wonderful years to his wife, Debbie.

His local claim to fame is as co-owner of the Bill Marsh Automotive Group, with brothers Jamie and Mike Marsh. Together, they retail approximately 5,000 new and used vehicles per year, while actively contributing to the community, and striving everyday to deliver exceptional service to their customers. House of Hope, Bill’s charity of choice, has been an inspiration to him in his 7 years on their board of directors. Amongst the myriad of social problems facing this nation, he credits the committed staff with providing an environment that builds strong, capable, supportive families.
