Rich Budek

Rich was born and raised in Petoskey, relocating to Traverse City seven years ago to become the store manager for McLain Cycle and Fitness. Rich enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, rollerblading, dancing and most recently rowing. His interest in dance was sparked while on vacation in Mexico three years ago. The music and the movement fascinated him. He immediately enrolled at a dancer class at the Dance Center not knowing what he was getting into but just that he had to try it!

Rich has been dancing ever since and his passion for dance is contagious. He is considering competition and enjoys teaching new people how to dance. Rich has three grown children and two grandchildren whom he enjoys spending time with. Rich is looking forward to working with SwingShift and the Stars to raise funds for one of the many local charities, all the while doing what he loves best, dancing.
