Dancing with Kristina Nichols for Youth W.O.W.
|
Living in Northern Michigan has allowed Pat to experience the amenities of balancing a busy professional career with family and outdoor activities and still remain connected with the community. Pat, his wife Patti, and his three sons, Luke, Joe and Nick moved to Traverse City in 1993 when he joined West Front Primary Care for full time family practice. He chose to be a family doctor because of his own early experiences with injuries. He can’t imagine a better job as a friend, educator, and healer for his patients.
Pat enjoys traveling, watching movies, racquetball, softball, golf, regular exercise and family activities. Treating obesity has become his mission and his passion. Developing the Youth Working on Wellness (Youth W.O.W.) program has provided structure and access to nutritional counseling, behavior modification and physical activity for young people. He truly believes that “motion is potion” and is taking a dose of his own medicine by dancing in support of Youth W.O.W.
