Dancing with Jennifer Howard for Big Brothers Big Sisters. |
Kelvin likes living in Northern Michigan because it just doesn’t get any better. He loves the beauty of the water and the area, the lack of congestion, pollution and crime. His family ties and businesses also tie him closely to the area. His two brothers, sister and mom all call the Traverse City area home. He has 3 children. Keyana works for Oxford University Press in New York City, his son, Trevor, passed away in an accident when he was 14, and his daughter Jena is in her 3rd year at Suffolk University in Boston. He is engaged to a beautiful woman who is a perfect fit for him, Jennifer Cichowski.
Kelvin graduated from Traverse City Central High School in 1974 and graduated from MSU with a business degree in 1978. He has owned Cartridge World in TC since it opened in 2005. He enjoys sales because of the relationships that he can build with people. Kelvin is a Chamber Ambassador, a Cherry Festival Ambassador and a devoted sponsor and fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters. He believes that dancing for the Bigs is a challenging and fun way to help a great organization that improves the lives of kids in need.
