Maria comes to us from New York where her first love is her big Italian family. She is excited to now call Traverse City her new home and is in love with its beauty and people. She has studied dance her whole life and attended Marymount Manhattan College where she received her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. Maria traveled the United States and the world as a dancer in numerous production, magic, and revue shows. She is excited to now be a full time instructor and choreographer at Dance Arts Academy.
While not in the studio, Maria loves to bake, make jewelry, practice her Italian, and spend time with her husband Patrick, a Traverse City native, and their little dog, Leia. She is so honored and delighted to be able to dance for charity and to teach a star to love and appreciate dance!
